Coco Gauff is bringing Love Island to the U.S. Open.

Gauff recently had a fun interaction with Love Island's Olandria Carthen online and invited her and several of the castmates from season seven of the show to her match at the U.S. Open.

"I heard you were a Nicolandria Stan [Coco Gauff]. I love you queen!"  Carthen wrote to Gauff. referencing her relationship with her costar Nic Vansteenberge.

Gauff replied,  also sending an invite out to Olandria's best friend in the villa, Chelley Bissainthe: "Huge stan!!! I was defending you guys down! Lol thanks to US Open for shooting my shot for me. Would love to have you guys at a match! And of course Queen Chelley as well."

Coco Gauff shares her Love Island obsession

Gauff previously shared how addicted she was to this season's show that she had to delete an app from her phone.

“I had to delete Twitter after last week because I’m too involved with Love Island,” she joked during a madcap post-match press conference, “and then Tennis Twitter’s coming up, and you know, there’s all this drama from that and Love Island. Then for some reason, The Summer I Turned Pretty was coming up, and I’d never watched that, but I was into it even not watching the show!

“I was like, ‘Ok, I’m getting too addicted.’ So, I have no Twitter on my phone anymore,” she said.

Gauff took her fandom to the next level by attending a watch party last season.

“I went to a watch party for Love Island,” she continued.“I’m in two Love Island group chats. I hosted a Love Island watch party. It was a bad obsession! I was thinking of doing, if I had time I was going to do a whole Love Island game with my friends where we had to dress up and couple up. I had it all planned out, but I didn’t have time in between Wimbledon and here. Next season, maybe!”

Gauff is currently No. 2 in the world in singles. She begins her 2025 U.S. Open campaign on Monday, August 25, against Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia.
