The internet has had a lot to say about Cardi B and Stefon Diggs' newborn. The rapper is not letting the rumor that she had a "revenge baby" with the New England Patriots star following her filing for divorce from Offset in July 2025. 

The Grammy-winning rapper took to X to share her frustration after a fan left a comment on influencer Jessie Woo's Instagram Live earlier this week, suggesting that Cardi had a baby with her boyfriend in spite of her ex.

 

“Revenge on what?” Cardi asks in the now-viral voice note she left on X's Spaces via Red Media. “Revenge on who? What is a revenge baby? Do you think I’m gonna be like, ‘Hey, I’m gonna have a baby, because I’m gonna have revenge … on what b-tch, on my ex-husband? I don’t need to have a baby for revenge, baby. My whole life is motherf–kin revenge. My money is revenge. My career is revenge. My album is revenge, me not dying over a n—a is revenge. Me having freedom is revenge.”

The rapper noted that her child with Diggs who was born in November 2025, was made out of love and was in no indication how she would try to get back at her ex-husband.

“I’m a grown woman, I make my own f–king decisions. If I wanna keep my baby, I kept my baby and me and my man love our baby. Ain’t no f–king revenge, shut the f–k up.”

Cardi shares three children: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom with the Migos rapper.

How fans are reacting to Cardi B's Spaces post

Many fans came to the rapper's defense, noting how her marriage with Offset ended due to infidelity and that this was her own choice to have a child with Diggs.

"I don’t understand why people don’t understand that Cardi wanted her baby cuz of herself. What the ex husband gotta do wit that?" One fan asked on X. "He moved on while actively in the relationship. She moved on afterwards as she should 😭 People got more smoke for her than the serial cheater idgi."

"It’s crazy to see women bringing each other down however, did we not see offset constant cheating allegations," a fan wrote in defense of the rapper on X. "Cardi B supposed to have had an abortion? OffSet did not want to sign the divorce papers No, which delayed the process. Wasn’t Offset also with other women before the divorce was finalized. To say she had a 'Revenge Baby' straight up sickening."

While Cardi has been vocal about her frustration with the fan's comment on Woo's livestream, Diggs has not inserted his opinion on the matter. The Patriots' wide receiver is currently facing felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges for allegedly attacking his private chef during a financial dispute back in December 2025.
