While Patrick Mahomes is racing against the clock to recover as quickly as possible from ACL and LCL surgery, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, is continuing to be a supportive wife and mother.
On Monday, Jan. 12, Brittany shared a heartfelt message in honor of the couple's youngest daughter, Golden's, first birthday.
"My baby is ONE 🥹😭," Brittany wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a photo of the 1-year-old dressed in a polka dot romper with a large bow headband. Later in the morning, Brittany tagged Patrick in another snap which showed Golden sliding down a large inflatable slide.
She captioned the post, "This baby girl is pure joy."
The NFL WAG is a doting mother to baby Golden and her two older children, Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 3.

Golden Mahomes turns ONE
Brittany and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback hosted a daisy-themed party in honor of little Golden's milestone birthday last week.
The proud mom of three shared a video reel on IG on Monday, showcasing the little one's first birthday party, which featured a large blow-up inflatable slide and ball pit, cotton candy machine, and smash cake covered in strawberries.
"Celebrated our Golden girl with the best crew," she captioned the post.
In one clip, Golden is seen smirking adorably while wearing a bright yellow long-sleeve tutu dress covered in daisies. Another clip showed Golden take some of her first steps toward Brittany, while a third showed Patrick picking up the toddler while he covered her in kisses.
Fans flooded the comments section with messages, with several people calling the Mahomes' youngest child Patrick's mini-me.
"She is Patrick twin! Happy 1st Birthday beautiful Golden 🥳🥳," one person commented.
"She looks so much like her Daddy! Love this," a second wrote.
"Sterling is your replica, Bronze is a mix of you both, and Golden is Patrick’s mini 😍 Beautiful family, happy birthday Golden 👑," a third echoed.
