Bill Belichick is supporting his girlfriend's dreams.
The UNC football coach cheered on Jordon Hudson as she reentered her cheerleading era. The former college cheerleader joined Code Black, a competitive cheerleading team based in North Carolina.
A photo on Saturday, Nov. 16, began circulating on X that showed Hudson at cheer practice with the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach on the sidelines. The fan was surprised at Belichick's attendance at the practice as she wrote alongside the photo, "I didn’t have 73 yo Bill Belichick showing up at a cheer competition to watch his 24 yo gf perform on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are."
This is not the only time Belichick has supported Hudson, whom he met on a plane in 2021. Hudson competed in the Miss Maine USA pageant in 2024 and 2025 and placed as the second runner-up both years. The UNC coach sat in the front row to support Hudson.
Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson's relationship
Belichick and Hudson have been defending their relationship since they went public with their relationship last year. The two have made headlines initially because of their nearly 50-year age gap but just as the public was seemingly giving the couple grace, the viral CBS interview happened.
Back in April, CBS's Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple met, and Hudson interjected, saying, "Not talking about this."
Belichick went on the defense and supported his girlfriend and shared the reason why she was at the interview in the first place.
"I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning — Lessons from My Life in Football," he said in an April 30 statement provided to E! News by his employer, the University of North Carolina. "Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book."
Belichick ensured that she was on set to keep the focus of the conversation on the book and not their personal life.
"After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion," Belichick said in his statement. "She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track."
