Bill Belichick wants to keep things strictly business when it comes to discussing headlines outside of his coaching at UNC.

Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, made headlines this week after she shared that she is suing journalist Pablo Torre. While Hudson has not yet disclosed what exactly she is suing the former ESPN journalist over, Belichick has made his first comment on the matter.

“I know you can’t control what people write about you or say about you or talk about,” a reporter told Belichick during a press conference on Wednesday, November 26. “But right before the Duke game, there was a big story in the New York Post. And right before this game, there was a story with Jordon Hudson possibly filing a lawsuit against Pablo [Torre]. How much do those distractions seep down into the team, and how much time do they take from what you’re trying to accomplish? Is there a way, in your mind, to try to eliminate some of that drama?"

“Yeah, I’m just focused on the game,” the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach responded. “That’s what our team’s focused on, so…”

Belichick's answer follows the former cheerleader's viral post on Sunday, Nov. 23,  where she posted a selfie holding up a press pass with the caption, “P.S. I’m suing you @pstorre.”

She also seemingly called out the reporter with a nod to his reporting that claimed she was banned from UNC by wearing a necklace that read "banned" in a silver script font.

The university responded to Torre's claims, which denounced his report.

"While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” Carolina Athletics said in a statement to Us Weekly on May 9. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”

In terms of Hudson's post, Torre also responded to it as well writing on X: "Hi @Jordonbella  I assume this means you’re declining my invitation to be a guest on @pablofindsout? Either way, I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Pablo," he wrote Nov. 23.

As of the time of this writing, it has not been reported whether an official lawsuit has been filed.
