50 Cent threw an unexpected diss towards Travis Kelce's ex Kayla Nicole when asked what he thinks about the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end new relationship with Taylor Swift.
The singer and athlete have been dating for two years but in August, Kelce got down on one knee and proposed. The couple announced their engagement on social media with a variety of photos from the proposal which took place in Kelce's backyard.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the couple captioned their proposal pics.
What did 50 Cent say about Kayla Nicole?
In an interview with Extra TV, 50 Cent shared that he's a fan of Swift who namedropped him in her song, "Ruin the Friendship" from her latest project, The Life of a Showgirl. Not only is the "Candy Shop" rapper a fan of the 14-time Grammy winnner he also showed some love to Kelce.
"I like her boyfriend too. I like the team. I like KC," 50 Cent told the outlet.
That's when the interview got a bit sour as 50 Cent dissed Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole.
"I do, I do. I like it a lot better than the last thing [Kelce] had going on," 50 Cent said, "It's a lot better."

Kayla Nicole and Kelce dated on and off from 2017 to 2022. The three-time Super Bowl champion started his relationship with Swift the following year.
Kayla Nicole has not responded to 50 Cent's message.

Later in the interview, the rapper commented on Swift's shoutout ot him on "Run the Friendship" and what he thought of the singer's callout to him in the song.
"It really is cool because when she makes the reference, if you listen to the song, it's to what was going on in culture at that time," he shared.
"The music, you couldn't miss it at that point and that's why it was cool to me… What she was making reference to is the period that no one was more prominent in music at that point," he added.
