The hype behind the A'ja Wilson's first signature sneaker was, indeed, real.

After many months of teasers and clever marketing campaigns, the pink variation of the shoes went on sale at exactly 10 a.m. EST, and were sold out by 10:05 a.m. EST, with fans being met with a "the product you are looking for is no longer available," alert as soon as they visited the product page. Needless to say, many fans were disappointed they couldn't get their hands on the shoe, and received an encouraging message from Wilson via Instagram stories.

"This morning was wild," she wrote. "If you missed the A’One, don’t worry. We’re dropping again Thursday at Nike stores and other spots everywhere. I do this for the real ones, always," she continued. If you are unable to snag the pink A'Ones, no worries, there are additional colorways dropping this month as well.

The A'One 'Pearl' sneakers are just around the corner with their soft blue colorway, white accents and subtlety of grey scattered throughout. That colorway releases on May 15, and will be set for a retail price of $110. There's also a "Blue Fury" colorway that Wilson debuted in April, which is defined by its multiple shades of blue set to release on April 15, as well.
