Bronny James' girlfriend's parents can't get enough of the Los Angeles Lakers rookie.
Bronny, who is the son of NBA star LeBron James, is currently dating Parker Whitfield. She is the daughter of actors Salli Richardson and Dondré Whitfield who recently commented on the relationship between Parker and Bronny. TMZ caught up with Salli and Dondré and asked how the Lakers player meshes with their family, to which she replied, "He’s a good dude.”
Dondré joked with the TMZ reporter, saying that he is on "thin ice" until he can deliver a championship to the Lakers but says that Bronny has his respect.
Salli has acted in several films such as A Low Down Dirty Shame, The Great White Hype and I Am Legend. She has also directed several shows, including: The Chi, Pearson, The Wheel of Time, and The Gilded Age.
As for Dondré, he is a three-time Emmy nominee and has acted in several shows and films over his 20-plus-year career in the industry, including All My Children, The Cosby Show, Queen Sugar, Girlfriends, and more.
When did Bronny James and Parker Whitfield go public with their relationship?
Bronny and Parker met while attending Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles and made their debut as a couple during the 2024 Paris Olympics. They were seen supporting Bronny's father, LeBron, and Team USA during the quarterfinal versus Brazil, and again during the semifinal game against Team Serbia.
Following the 2024 Paris Olympics, Parker posted a photo of Bronny for National Boyfriend's Day. "Bf day! i love you! @bronny," she wrote.
“I love you!” Bronny reposted the message, adding, “I love you babyyyyy.”
While on the road during his rookie season, he mentioned Parker on Instagram, writing, "I miss my baby. Love u sm."
