Travis Kelce's Kayla Nicole seemingly reacts to Taylor Swift's rumored song about her image

Kayla Nicole is seemingly unbothered by rumors that Taylor Swift's song could reference a past moment with Travis Kelce.

Swift, who is now engaged to Kansas City Chiefs star, released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Oct. 3. As fans were disecting the lyrics to the album's third track, "Opalite," there was a connection Swifities believe between Kayla Nicole and the three-time Super Bowl champion when they were dating. The sports reporter and Kelce dated on and off from 2017 to 2022 but recently a resurfaced video of the two arguing about Kayla Nicole's phone usage went viral.

With a glass of red wine in hand, Kayla Nicole tells Kelce that she wouldn't need “to seek validation from a bunch of strangers on the internet” if “someone sometimes would pay [her] attention,” according to screenshots of the since-deleted video on Page Six. 

Kelce seemingly annoyed responded, "Oh, my God. Get off your phone. Get off your phone. … You’re not even drinking your wine anymore. Can we go?”

That interaction is seemingly played out in the lyrics to Swift's "Opalite."

"You couldn’t understand it / Why you felt alone / You were in it for real / She was in her phone / You were just a pose…” Swift sings on the track.

Kayla Nicole's reaction to the alleged rumor

While Swift hasn't shared that the song references Kelce's past relationship with Kayla Nicole, fans noticed a possible reaction from tthe NFL star's former flame. 

On Sunday Oct. 5, Kayla Nicole reposted a clip per Vibe from season three of America’s Next Top Model. In the clip, Tyra Banks asks Eva Marcille, “How do you compare yourself to the other girls out there?”

Marcille responded: “I don’t compare myself to other girls… I’m no comparison to anyone else.”

Fans have been in Kayla Nicole's comment section sharing their thoughts on the song's potential reference to her.

"Running rent free in that girls mind," one fan commented under a photo of Kayla Nicole's seemingly referencing Swift.

"Hey Kayla? Don’t listen to the haters. Keep shining," another fan commented.

A fan quoted Beyoncé's "Formation" under Kayla Nicole's post: "You know you that B When you 'cause all this conversation."

Kayla Nicole has not directly responded to the potential mention of her on Swift's song.
