Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been the talk of the NFL and the pop world ever since they announced their engagement earlier this month. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and "Shake It Off" Singer, both 35, aren't rushing down the aisle this week, but their wedding plans are already taking shape, with a summer 2026 Rhode Island ceremony rumored to be their top choice.
Here's everything we know so far about Swift and Kelce's upcoming wedding.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce eyeing summer wedding in Rhode Island
Swift and the NFL player are reportedly eyeing a summer 2026 wedding in Rhode Island, according to an insider.
"They are getting married next summer in Rhode Island. She is in a hurry to have children," a source told "Page Six" this week.
While fans are eagerly awaiting more details about the wedding timeline, they shouldn't expect anything over the top, as the lovebirds are hoping to keep their nuptials private and simple, despite having the wallet to host an extravagant bash.
“It will be more casual than people think," the outlet reported.

Why Rhode Island could be the perfect venue
Swift and Kelce haven't confirmed any rumors about their upcoming wedding yet, however, Rhode Island appears ready to roll out the red carpet for them if they do choose the Ocean State for their big day.
High profile weddings aren't always something celebrated by locals. Remember all the backlash Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez faced from residents in Venice, Italy locals after the couple hosted their star-studded wedding ceremony there in June?
Luckily, Swift and Kelce shouldn't have the same problem, as Rhode Island governor Dan McKee has already voiced his support on social media openly welcoming them.
"Rhode Island has some of the best wedding venues in the world, just saying," McKee wrote on X on August 26, along with a repost of the couple's engagement announcement last week.
A Rhode Island wedding would make perfect sense, as Swift has deep ties to the Ocean State where she owns a $17.5 million mansion. She purchased the charming coastal abode, located in the town of Westerly Watch Hill, in 2013.
The home is big enough to host an intimate wedding if the couple decides to go in that direction. It features eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and is set on 5.23 acres packed with gardens and a pool. In years past, Swift used the property as a venue for her star-studded Fourth of July parties.

Last August, Kelce brought several people close to him, including his brother, Jason Kelce and wife Kylie Kelce, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany Mahomes, to the bash.
On August 26, Kelce and Swift announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post. The couple included a series of romantic photos standing in a garden after the Super Bowl winner proposed.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the post read.
The couple got engaged after two years of dating.
