Even stars get starstruck and a little confused sometimes!

During Taylor Swift's appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Oct. 8, the singer shared a mix-up made by her now fiancé Travis Kelce while she was on tour. She told Meyers that the Kansas City Chiefs star would often go into the tents with other celebrities and "give her the tea afterward." After the couple would "debrief" on what was going on in the audience as Swift perfomed during her record-breaking Eras Tour.

During one of her concerts in London in June 2024, Kelce, however, had some difficulty spilling the tea to Swift afterwards because he mixed up Greta Gerwig and Hugh Grant's wife, Anna [Eberstein].

Kelce told Swift that there were a lot of celebrities who came out to support her and that they all had a good time prior to his mix-up.

"This was the most fun tent. Everybody was amazing. Like, Tom Cruise is going crazy. Like, Liam [Hemsworth] is just as fun as Chris [Hemsworth]. And Liam’s fiancée Gabriella [Brooks] is so cool," he said. "And Ashton [Kutcher] was there. And Mila [Kunis], like, oh my God, Hugh Grant was there, and I get to tell him how much I love his movies. And he was so cool. Everyone was amazing!'”

The Chiefs' tight end is a huge fan of Gerwig, who is known for directing the Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Kelce went up to Greta -- as though he thought at the time -- and told her the joke, “Well, I walked up to her and I was like, ‘I love Barbie. I’m just Ken, too,'” he said. “And then I pointed to you.”

Kelce noted that "Gerwig's" response was polite, but she didn't really laugh, which Swift chalked up to her hearing similar jokes due to her connection to the film but added that it seemed "out of character" for the director.

That was the first clue that something didn't feel right about Kelce's story.

Swift then had video evidence where she showed Kelce that it was “all over the internet is just videos of Travis dancing with Greta, all night like they’re best friends. And I’m like, ‘Travis, here’s a video of you with Greta. It feels like she thought the joke was funny.’ He goes, ‘Oh, that’s not Greta.'”

Another clue was that Kelce said that Gerwig and Grant seemed like "soulmates" as they danced together in the tent, and with all three clues now, did the pop star put it together.  Swift got to thinking that there's a possibility that Kelce told his joke to the wrong person.

“Is there any chance at all, baby, that you complimented Hugh Grant’s wife, Anna [Eberstein], on her movie Barbie, said, ‘I’m just Ken too,’ and she politely nodded because she didn’t have the heart to tell you she didn’t direct it. And is there any chance that the people who look like soulmates are Hugh Grant and his soulmate?'”

The moment left the audience in hysterical laughter.

Will Taylor Swift tour again soon?

Swift's Eras Tour ran from March 17, 2023, to December 8, 2024, where she performed in 149 shows. She toured five continents and 51 cities, and while she just released The Life of a Showgirl, Swift shared that touring is not in the future for the time being.

"I'm gonna be really honest with you. Like, I am so tired when I think about doing it again because I would want to do it really, really well again," she told BBC 1's host Greg James.

The Eras Tour is the highest-grossing tour of all time and has amassed over $2 billion in revenue.
