Sports broadcaster Taylor Rooks shocked fans when she revealed that she had gotten married over the weekend. She shared several photos of herself walking down the aisle, her bridal party, as well as some celebrity guests.
"What a night. This is love," Rooks captioned the photos of her wedding ceremony.
Rooks had several musicians, entertainers, and of course, sports stars to witness her wedding, such as Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Saquon Barkley, Donovan Mitchell with his fiancée Coco Jones, Jack Harlow, Ella Mai, and Maria Taylor.
A close friend of Rooks and former FS1 host Joy Taylor appeared to be a bridesmaid and shared a post on her Instagram Story, congratulating her friend.
“So happy for my girl,” she wrote.“Love you sis!”
As for the groom, like most of Rooks' life outside of media, she is still keeping his full identity under wraps, but did share that his first name is Shane.
As Rook continues to move on to new beginnings in her personal life, she recently left the place where she began her career as an NBA reporter for TNT and Bleacher Report.
"After seven beautiful, wild, growth-filled years, my time with TNT Sports and Bleacher Report is coming to an end — and where to begin…. Just look at all the fun we had. The questions. The viral clips. The moments that meant something. I loved looking back at all the conversations we created. The best times of my career. Clips that make people smile. The coworkers who turned into forever friends," she wrote on Instagram last week as she shared several photos of videos of her time at the organization.
She went on to thank everyone who gave her a chance as a "26 year old woman that had a lot to say and a lot to learn" and made her a better broadcaster in the process.
She ended her caption quoting TNT sportscaster Ernie Johnson, "'This is a ‘get to’ job — not a ‘have to’ job.' And I am so much better because I got to do it with all of you. Here’s to the next chapter that only comes because of the one before it."
It's unclear where Rooks will end up next, but with years of sportscasting experience, only great opportunities are on the horizon.
