Tate McRae is the latest singer to be romantically linked to a professional athlete.

Joining the likes of Taylor Swift and Cardi B., the "Greedy" singer was spotted getting cozy with NHL player Jack Hughes this week. 

On Monday, Tate, 22, and the New Jersey Devils star, 24, were all smiles as they strolled around New York City together. 

The "Greedy" singer sported a stylish black trench coat over distressed wide leg jeans, while Hughes wore a dark puffer coat over a beige quarter zip sweater for their day on the town.

After photos of the pair's second public outing went viral, fans quickly reacted on X with excitement. 

"A New Jersey love story," one fan gushed. 

"He's a lucky man," a second person wrote. 

"OMG! It's like she's the Canadian Taylor Swift!!!!" Another added. 

Tate McRae and Jack Hughes were first linked in November 

The pair's stroll through Manhattan came one day after Tate was spotted in a suite at the Prudential Center in New Jersey watching Hughes' team take on the Buffalo Sabres. 

Several photos and videos circulating on social media showed the pop star at the NHL game leading fans to question if she was there to cheer on Hughes. 

Tate and the New Jersey Devils player were first linked last month when they were seen getting cozy during a dinner date in Manhattan.

This isn't the first NHL player the singer has been linked to. 

She previously dated Columbus Blue Jackets star Cole Sillinger from 2021 until 2023. After that, she was linked to Australian rapper Kid Laroi, 22, whom she reportedly split from five months ago.
