Ryan Lochte's divorce is anything but cordial.

The 12-time Olympic gold medalist, 40, and his wife, former Playboy model Kayla Reid, 33, announced their decision to dissolve their marriage this week.

On June 4, Reid shared a lengthy statement on Instagram revealing that split she from Lochte after six years of marriage.

"Earlier this year, I made the hard decision to end my marriage after deep prayer and reflection. I hold marriage in the highest regard, so this has been one of the most painful, revealing, and challenging seasons of my life," Reid wrote, adding, "Sometimes we face trials we didn't choose or see coming."

A day after Reid went public with the news, Lochte reacted with his own statement on Instagram

"I want to take a moment to acknowledge what Kayla shared. This past year has brought major changes for both of us as we’ve come to the difficult decision to end our marriage," he wrote. "I’m deeply grateful for the life we’ve built together and especially for the love we share for our three children.”

Court documents have now revealed that the couple is disagreeing over several issues.

The former Playboy model and pro swimmer were married in 2018 and share three children together: Caiden Zane, 7, Liv Rae, 5, and Georgia, 1.

According to the "Daily Mail," Lochte has submitted multiple denials against his wife's March 26 divorce petition, which called the marriage "irretrievably broken."

In one argument, he denied that the children are "primarily" in Reid's care and argued that she shouldn't be awarded sole parental responsibility for them, the outlet reported.

Lochte also denied that the former Playboy model has "inadequate" income to provide for their kids or that she "needs the exclusive use" of the couple's Gainesville, Florida home, which was purchased for $548,000 in 2021.

Reid, on the other hand, has requested that the court award her the majority of the time with the kids and argued that "equal time-sharing would be detrimental" to them.

She has also requested financial assistance to cover the costs of education retraining, aiming to improve her financial situation.

The legal documents also revealed that the couple owes nearly $270,000 in debts, including an estimated $100,000 to the IRS.
