As NFL training camp kicked off across the league this week, three of football's most high-profile WAGs - Sydney Warner, Kelly Stafford, and Olivia Culpo - shared emotional send-offs to their husbands ahead of the 2025 season.
There's no question that NFL wives make sacrifices during football season, balancing family life with travels and the pressure of the game.
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner's wife, Sydney Warner, was among the first to post, offering a heartfelt tribute to her husband of three years with her 224,000 followers on social media.
Sydney Warner's sweet send-off to Fred Warner ahead of his 8th NFL training camp
Sydney shared the message on Instagram on Monday, writing, "you’d think the send off to training camp 🏈 would get easier year after year but that couldn’t be further from the truth!"
She continued, "here’s to an unforgettable off season with my boys & to year 8 being the best one yet🫶🏽♥️ we love you dada go get em’ 😤."
The NFL WAG included a carousel of photos of herself and the 49ers star with their 1-year-old son, Beau Anthony Warner.
In one snap, the happy couple sat on each side of their infant son and kissed him on the cheek while they rode in a train cart.
Another snap showed the NFL player lying in a bouncy house as baby Beau jumped beside him in a diaper.
Fred has been a consistent starter with the 49ers since he entered the league in 2018.
This is his eighth training camp with the NFL team.
Olivia Culpo celebrates Christian McCaffrey's first NFL training camp as a new dad
Olivia Culpo marked a major milestone for her husband, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, as he kicked off his first NFL training camp as a new dad.
On Monday, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 33, who gave birth to their first child, Colette Annalise McCaffrey, earlier this month, said she's going to miss the All-Pro running back when he returns to the field.
"Best daddy in the world goes to camp today. Everyone go wish him luck @christianmccaffrey,” Culpo wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a black and white photo of McCaffrey lying on a bed, gazing proudly at his newborn daughter, Colette. "We're going to miss him so much," Culpo added with a crying emoji.
McCaffrey and his wife announced the birth of baby Collette in a shared Instagram post on July 13.
They captioned the post, "Colette Annalise McCaffrey 🤍."
Christian has played in the NFL for eight seasons, including two with the 49ers. He was traded to the NFL team in 2022 after spending his first five and a half seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
Kelly Stafford reflects on family, football and cherishing off-season moments
Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, got real and reflective as she prepared to send her husband off to NFL training camp.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the mother of four shared a quiet moment of gratitude for the time they spent together during the offseason, while also acknowledging that all things eventually come to an end.
"Am always grateful for an off-season with you, while always looking forward to another football season. Soon these seasons won’t exist so not taking any of it for granted," the post read.
Matthew has played in the NFL for 16 seasons.
He was drafted in 2009 and has taken the field for both the Detroit Lions and the Rams.
