Karl-Anthony Towns liked it, so he put a ring on it!

The New York Knicks center proposed to his girlfriend Jordyn Woods following the Knicks taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day. The couple took to Instagram to share the news.

"Marry Christmas," the couple captioned the joint post, which showcased several photos of Woods posing with the ring beside the NBA star.

Towns proposed to Woods at the rooftop bar in New York City.

Several fans chimed in to celebrate the entrepreneur and NBA star.

"The most deserving woman, so proud of both of you this is EVERYTHING," Woods' sister Jodie Woods wrote.

"Family!!!!! So happy for you queen, congratulations," reality star Olandria Carthen commented.

"YAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WIFEY ERA ROSTER IS COMPLETE," TV host Kamie Crawford wrote.

"Stunning. Congratulations," fitness model Kayla Nicole commented.

The following day, Woods shared some photos of herself at Madison Square Garden, where she posed in a mixed brown fur coat, white lace stockings, and white heels that resembled ice skating shoes. In the photo dump, an elongated emerald-cut diamond on a platinum pave band with about 10-20 carats.

"Turned the garden to an ice rink I’m overwhelmed with all of the kind messages, love you guys!!!!!" She captioned her Instagram dump.

Woods and Towns started their relationship during the pandemic, but were friends for years prior to the start of their romance. Towns' mother died from COVID-19 in April 2020, and Woods lost her father in 2017. During the entrepreneur's Instagram series, Regular-ish, they shared how they were able to lean on one another during tough times.

"Me and Jordyn met years ago knowing common people and just became friends," Towns explained. "And ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends. I'm not saying in that way, but just best friends. And then we started having a deeper relationship."

"It just so happened, the COVID came and kind of brought its challenges and it kind of forced us to either pick where our relationship was going to go as friends or something more," Towns added. "And we chose the latter."

Back in October, Woods was a guest on the Tamron Hall Show and shared what she loves most about Towns.

“He’s like a big kid, and sometimes it’s a lot, but he really keeps things exciting."
