Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are celebrating their love.

The couple has been married for 11 years and celebrated their wedding anniversary with a montage of videos throughout the years they've been together on Instagram on Aug. 30.

"Eleven years of marriage and I’m still waking up next to my best friend, laughing through the adventures, dancing through the challenges, and raiding the snack cabinet together. This love feels like the best sleepover we get to call home," Union and Wade wrote in their caption of their joint Instagram post. "Thank you to everyone who continue[s] to pray over our union, wade beside us, and pour into our family. We don’t take it for granted. Here’s to more years of love, laughter, and everything in between. Forever, to eternity, and to us," the couple wrote.

"Aww Mary Jane found love," one fan joked of Union's Being Mary Jane character.

"Love black love! Congratulations," another fan commented.

A fan sent their best wishes for the couple, writing. "Happy Anniversary!!! May you continue to flourish and enjoy the beauty of love, friendship and marriage."

The couple met in 2007, but were in previous relationships. Union was previously married to former NFL star Chris Howard, and Wade was still married to his then-wife, Siohvaughn Funches. However, a couple of years later, the couple reconnected and went public with their relationship in 2010. They got engaged in 2013 and then married a year later.

The pair share a 6-year-old daughter, Kaavia James. As for Wade, he has two children with his ex-wife Funches -- Zaire, 23, and Zaya, 18. He also has an 11-year-old son with Aja Metoyer and is the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris, who is 21 years old.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union on their nearly 10-year age gap

The couple is nine years apart, and while speaking with Michelle Obama and her brother Craig Robinson on their IMO podcast, they discussed how they had to persuade their families that they were serious about one another.

"So when I first met his family, the older sisters, who are closer in my age, [were] immediately good," Union said on the podcast. "We're good in the hood. But with Tragil, because she has been the protector... She has been the watchdog. She has been the gatekeeper to keep [Dwyane] sane and to keep him doing everything he needs to do without interference from anybody. And before I got to the wife stage, like when we were just [at] the very beginning, I think Tragil and his mom were like, 'What do you want? Who are you, you older lady? What do you want?'"

However, they eventually were able to see how important they were to one another, and they approved.

"But it took some years, really, to earn their trust and also for them to earn my trust so we could be comfortable equally," Union added. "Now, it's easy, because we are all on the same side."
