That was fast. Former NBA star Dwight Howard's wife, Amber Rose Howard, has filed for divorce just six months after getting married.
According to court documents obtained by "TMZ," Amber filed the divorce petition on July 1 at a Georgia courthouse.
"The marriage is irretrievably broken," Amber wrote in the docs, adding that, "there are no prospects for reconciliation."
The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star, who goes by the name Amy Luciani, is asking for alimony and has requested that all marital assets and property be divided equitably.
That NBA star is yet to comment on the divorce news.
While Amber hasn't directly addressed the news yet either, she has shared a few cryptic posts on social media that allude to the rough time she's currently enduring.
On Monday, July 7, the NBA star's soon-to-be ex-wife posted on her Instagram Stories, "Remember if God brought you to it, He will bring you through it."
She shared another black and white quote on IG on June 12 that suggested she was ready to move on from something without pointing any fingers at Dwight.
"The longer you entertain what's not for you, the longer you postpone what is. Read that again," Amber wrote to her 713,000 followers, alongside a stunning selfie wearing a white crop top and edgy denim jeans.
