Megan The Stallion and Klay Thompson are the latest celebrity couple to have been hit with split rumors.

Fans believe that the superstar rapper and four-time NBA champion have broken up due to a viral X post claiming that Megan cheated on Thompson. The post was made by a parody account pretending to be Pop Crave called Hoops Crave, which, if scrolled through quickly, appears to be a legitimate account complete with a blue check mark.

The post reads, "Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion have reportedly broken up after Megan was caught cheating," alongside a photo of Megan and Thompson.

Luckily, thanks to readers who added context to the viral post, others can see that the post is fake and there have been no legitimate sources confirming a split, nor have Megan or Thompson spoken out.

"??? Y’all just be saying anything," one fan reacted in the comment section.

"After Thanksgiving and everything?" A fan commented, referring to the couple spending their first major holiday together.

One fan believed the rumor as well as the false sentiment that Megan is interfering with the NBA star's performance: "Oh good, he can play again."

Thompson and Megan's romance has been under scrutiny, and most recently, comments about the rapper went viral when their relationship became a topic of discussion during the Hoopin' N Hollerin' podcast, where the former NBA stars Jason Williams and Patrick Beverley last month.

“I’ve never seen Klay not shoot it like this,” Beverly said during the podcast episode that premiered on Nov. 11. “And for him to say, ‘I’m out of my prime’? C’mon Klay.”

He alluded to the relationship being a distraction in terms of balancing his on-court responsibilities and off-court activities. “His routine is thrown off. I’m not saying it’s her. I watch them on Instagram. The guy was juggling. It’s easy to juggle one thing, but when you put something else in there it’s harder, [your] focus takes off a lil bit.”

Williams agreed with Beverly's take adding, "I'm from West Virginia, man, I've been taught a lot from old folks, old white folks. It only takes one p**** to drag a battleship across the desert. That's how powerful it is.”

“Klay Thompson, I ain't sayin' that's what it is,” Williams said, “but that might be what it is.”

Thompson did not care for their opinions and reacted in the comment section.

"Referring to my GF as a (expletive) is so disgusting and disturbing. Especially from someone who played in the NBA," Thompson wrote in a comment about the reel. "How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way? @patbev21 Do better fellas. Very disappointing."

Despite what naysayers and parody accounts think, the couple is still going strong.
