D'Angelo Russell has shared a major life update with fans. The Dallas Mavericks point guard has proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Laura Ivaniukas.
The Ohio State alum, who was selected second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2015 NBA draft, and the model shared the exciting news in a joint post shared to Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 23, alongside a series of romantic photos from their engagement.
They captioned the post, "Ms to Mrs.. Loading♾️."
In one photo, the happy couple, both dressed in white, stood in front of a heart-shaped arch covered in roses on the beach.
After he asked Ivaniukas to marry him, Russell could be seen chugging a bottle of champagne, while his bride-to-be held her hand up for the camera to show off her engagement ring.

Fans were quick to flood the couple's comment section with congratulatory messages.
One person commented, "So happy for ya'll."
Someone else wrote, "My jaw DROPPPEDDDDD I AM SO HAPPY."

Russell and Ivaniukas met during New York Fashion Week in 2020.
According to "People," the model, who was raised in Ontario, Canada, "didn't take him seriously" at first, however, that's all water under the bridge, as the couple, will now get their happily ever after.
The couple hard launched their relationship on social media, sharing pics from a trip to Lake Cumberland, in 2020.
Since then, they've welcomed two children together, a son, Riley, and daughter, Mila-Rose.
