Carson Beck is opening up about his split from Hanna Cavinder.
For the first time the Miami quarterback is addressing his split from Cavidner, which occurred in March 2025. The couple started dating last year, and he even transferred to Miami from Georgia.
"You make mistakes as a person, but it sucks that you have to go through something like that with someone that you care about, and now it's all over the Internet," Beck told ESPN. "Half of what you see in the media is true. Half of what you see is not true. So, people pick their side of the story and run with it. The people that know the truth know the truth. But it's been difficult."
Fans believed that the two had broken up after traces of their relationship were scrubbed from their profiles online as well as Cavinder unfollowing him on Instagram and TikTok.
Why did Carson Beck and Hannah Cavinder break up?
While Beck has been mum about the breakup, Cavinder shared why she and the Miami QB are no longer together. She spoke to Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, about the split.
"No! Nobody likes him! And he wouldn't talk to people." Cavinder said in response to the athlete not having friends, according to FOX. "He had like an ego. He's like, he wanted people to stop and like take a picture. He would like flip off people in the bar and I'd be embarrassed. Like I'm sorry. Like I'd be like very embarrassed and I was like, oh my god, how rude."
She added that there was an alleged infidelity but that's not the sole reason why their relationship ended.
"I broke up with him and like all this cheating (expletive) came out," she added. "I had no idea. I didn't break up with him because of cheating. I broke up with him because of like who he was."
Despite their breakup making headlines, they both have been putting their best foot forward with their careers. Hanna and her twin sister Hayley ended their careers as basketball players in Miami but are now focusing on content creation and now "solely focused on our business and brand," per Marca.
As for Beck, he is the starting QB for Miami and is using this year to prove himself for the NFL draft next year, although ESPN reports that "those conversations are for another day" in regards to the NFL and wants to focus on "helping Miami win."
