Alix Earle is setting the record straight regarding breakup rumors with Braxton Berrios. The social media personality and Houston Texans wide receiver have been dating since 2023 and are now facing split rumors due to their separate residences. The influencer currently lives in Miami, and Berrios lives in Houston. Earle spoke about the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship on YouTube.

'"I think this is kind of like my first go at a real long-distance relationship. When it comes to our communication, it is harder than usual," Earle shared on her video titled "How to save a long-distance relationship," she uploaded Thursday (July 31).

"A lot of relationships can seem perfect. So I wanted to open up to you guys on how long-distance has been going and some of the struggles we have been having," she continued.

Despite the social media noise, Earle shared that they are doing well.

"We have not had a lot of problems in our relationship, but it has definitely just been a different obstacle," she added.

However, social media speculated that there might be some trouble in paradise when Earle was seen on social media with friends at parties, with Berrios nowhere to be found. She clarified those rumors in the video, telling fans that it's not an issue if she goes out to party without him.

"I am allowed to go out without my boyfriend, and I think we just trust each other," she said. "It's not a crazy concept to us."

She shared a hypothetical situation if she was not "allowed" to go hang out with her friends.

"Like, imagine if Braxton was like, 'You can't go out tonight.' I would be like, 'Well, this isn't gonna work out for me,'" she said, hypothetically.

Being a part has been an adjustment since Berrios used to play for the Miami Dolphins but signed a one-year $2 million deal with the Texans back in March.

The influencer also shared their last time they were with one another.

"The last time I saw him was July 4 in Europe together, and then back in Miami for a quick second."

She continued: "It has definitely been a lack of one-on-one time. We have just found a way in the little moments and we are looking forward to sitting on the couch together. When we were in Miami, we didn't want to leave the house."

During her girls' trip in Majorca, Spain, she also shut down the breakup rumors with a Love Island-inspired caption as she rocked a white t-shirt that read, "I love my boyfriend."

The two are seemingly making everything work out between them, so now the rumors can rest.

The Texans will begin their 2025-26 season on September 7 in Los Angeles against the Rams.
