The Dancing with the Stars season finale is Tuesday night, and it has an odd subplot.
One of the finalists, Robert Irwin, is apparently hurt.
Will that impact the outcome? It's hard to say.
Irwin is one of five finalists along with Jordan Chiles, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron and Elaine Hendrix.
Is Robert Irwin injured?
The 21-year old wildlife conservationist is apparently injured, yes.
His dance partner, Witney Carson, shared the news in a TikTok video.
"11 weeks of crazy, vigorous, hard dancing", Carson said. "My body is feeling it. Robert's body is feeling it. We're, like, kind of falling apart right now. Just trying to keep it together for, like, two more days. Literally today and tomorrow, and then it's over."
Then the key line: "Robert's ribs have been killing him, and more will be revealed on Tuesday."
Is Robert Irwin related to Steve Irwin?
Yes, Robert Irwin is the son of the late Steve Irwin.
He's also the brother of a DWTS champion. His older sister Bindi won the show in 2015.
"There is no sibling rivalry," Robert said earlier in the season. "It's actually really nice. She has just said, 'Go into this and make it your own.' She said it's going to be a completely different experience."
