Domantas Sabonis may be an NBA All-Star, but he is also a wine connoisseur.
The latest example? Ones by Sabonis, the premium Napa Valley family wine brand co-founded by Sabonis and entrepreneur Shashana Sabonis, has unveiled its newest limited releases: the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon from the legendary slopes of Howell Mountain and the 2024 Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast. Each wine embodies elegance, precision, and a deep sense of place, reflecting the Sabonis family’s passion for enology and appreciation for the Napa community. These highly anticipated vintages showcase the distinct terroir of two of California’s most celebrated wine regions.
Crafted with meticulous care, the 2023 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the exclusive ambience of its famed terroir. This release opens with lifted floral aromatics layered with cassis, black cherry, and ripe plum. Complementing this, the 2024 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir highlights the coastal influence of its vineyard origin, offering grace and vibrance, with expression of purity and lift.

“We are proud to introduce our two newest additions to Ones, both of which are deeply rooted in the spirit of Napa and represent not only where we’ve been, but where we’re headed,” said Domantas and Shashana Sabonis in a statement.
“Through patience, dedication and a deep respect for the craft, we’ve built something personal to us that we’re happy to share with our community and beyond. These new releases are about celebration, connection and creating those joyful memories with loved ones.”
With these newest vintages, the Sabonis family continues to work with esteemed winemaker Joe Harden. Harden is the head winemaker at Nickel and Nickel Winery, where he has been crafting exceptional wines since 2018. Following its debut last year, Ones Cabernet Sauvignon sold out within a single day of launch, reflecting the anticipation and excitement for the debut vintage.
