Michael Jordan's signed 1986 rookie card is now up for grabs.

The card, which is being sold through Pharrell Williams' Joopiter auction house, is the company's first sports item to be flogged, hitting the market with a starting price of $2 million. Described by The Athletic as being one of the mysterious Jordan sports cards in history, it has a mint 9 card grade and gem mint 10 autograph grade. According to the article, Jordan signed the card with a blue Sharpie in 2024 at his Florida golf course, where he apparently autographed nine Fleer cards in one go.

The auction is slated to kick off on June 17 via Joopiter's official website and will run through June 26. Per The Athletic, the card's grading makes it the highest combined card and autograph grade ever for a Jordan Fleer rookie card.

The Athletic also notes that Jordan's most expensive card sold is a 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Ultimate Logos Signature game-used Logoman patch autograph card, which was auctioned last year for $2.928 million. Judging from the comments, collectors are excited about this one. "I’ve had mine nearly 30 years, not the greatest, but it’s still a Jordan rookie," writes one fan.

"What 🐐🐐," adds another.

By the time June 26 rolls around, there may be a brand new owner of this iconic card. Let the chips fall where they may.
