The pressure was on Sunday for the Indiana Fever as they prepared to take on the Las Vegas Aces in the opening game of the semifinal series.

Many players looked confident as they made their way into the stadium, stopping to smile for the cameras. Among them were Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, both of whom are out for the season due to injuries.

In one comical moment captured on camera by Yahoo Sports, Clark could be seen trying to force a reluctant Cunningham to do the infamous tunnel walk ahead of the game. With a bare face and dressed in sweats and an oversized hoodie, Cunningham attempted to slip by unnoticed. Nevertheless, Clark pulled her along and made sure she had her moment in front of the cameras, drawing laughter from those watching.

Cunningham suffered a torn MCL in August, while Clark has been struggling with a groin injury since July. They have continued to support their team from the sidelines.

Although much of their team is out with injuries, the Fever have somehow continued to push their way forward through the WNBA playoffs. Their recent win against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday had fans across the nation celebrating. But of course, the job’s not over.
