Wearing a black, barely-there bikini top and matching short shorts, bikini model Alix Earle hit the soft sand of Miami Beach in heels, keeping up with the person next to her who’s sporting the more common beach staple: flip-flops.
Tanned and ready to go — Earle is at Miami Swim Week to walk in Saturday night’s sold-out Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at the W South Beach — the pro didn’t skip a beat.
“Heels no matter the occasion,” she wrote over the Friday, May 30 TikTok video. “I’m not taking them off sorry.”
The video went viral, amassing more than 2 million views in its first 17 hours. And the fans had a blast in the comments.

“Barbie never takes her heels off,” commented one. “This is actually so impressive,” admitted another. “Your ankles are god’s strongest soldier’s girls,” quipped a third.
Earle announced this week that she has joined the next season of Dancing with the Stars, where working out in stilettos is part of the deal. Looks like she’s ready to be a fierce competitor.
“It’s like Jesus walking on water,” marveled a fan. “She is who she is and she isn’t changing a damn thing,” applauded another. “How did I know it was you before I even saw who posted this,” agreed a third.
The Sports Illustrated Runway Show stars more than a dozen of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue models and will be livestreamed starting at 9 pm EST (Saturday, May 31) here on YouTube.
