The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue took to social media to share a stunning photo of NASCAR star Toni Breidinger from her debut turn with the iconic magazine. In the pic, which the brand deemed “unforgettable,” the fearless stock car racing driver flaunts her tiny waist in a teeny metallic string bikini.
It’s a far cry from her usual firesuit that the athlete wears on the job.
“Toni Breidinger’s 2025 SI Swimsuit debut was nothing less than unforgettable,” was SI Swim’s simple caption for the Saturday, November 8 share to X (formerly Twitter). The post also linked to an article about the star in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
“In her element, with a helmet in hand, posing by a seaside motor vehicle, the athlete repped Andi Bagus’s Raven String Bikini ($69),” writes the outlet. “While the duo is on the market in a trio of color ways, including black, taupe and red, Breidinger sported the latter and tied the bikini’s adjustable straps in a triangle style that perfectly hugged her frame. However, the suit’s versatility can morph the top into a bandeau cut and its bottoms into a high-leg silhouette. Also, stitched into fabric of the athlete’s suit— which featured a faux leather look, the label describes—was a checkered flag, courtesy of Abbode.”

Breidinger, 26, was shot in Florida by famed photographer Ben Horton. In 2021, she became the first Arab-American woman to compete in NASCAR. She also holds the record (23) Top 10 finishes for any woman in the sport.
