Travis Kelce's expensive gameday look revealed as he sits out Chiefs' preseason opener image

Travis Kelce may not have played in the Kansas City Chief's first preseason game, but he showed up in high style anyway.

The star tight end, 35, typically makes a bold fashion statement at NFL games, and he's clearly not breaking tradition in 2025.

Inside Travis Kelce's preseason gameday outfit

On Saturday, August 9, Kelce arrived in Glendale, Arizona for a matchup against the Cardinals rocking what appeared to be a basic black fit. However, an X user, @stylebykelce, broke down the total cost for his gameday look, and revealed that there wasn't anything basic about it, as he dropped more than $10,000 on it.

The all black look included a sleek, collared polo shirt, baggy pants, and Nike sneakers. Kelce accesorized the outfit with sunglasses, a large silver necklace, and an oversized black duffle bag.

Surprisingly, his shoes were the cheapest item of his entire outfit: a pair of Nike Air Force 1's with a Tiffany blue swoosh that retail for $400. At the same time, Kelce's polo cost $1,450, the Jaques Marie Mage sunglasses were $970, and the silver Louis Vuitton necklace was $975. The $6,400 Bottega duffle bag was by far the most expensive part of his outfit.

Unfortunately, the high dollar gameday look didn't help Kansas City win the game. The Chiefs were defeated by the Cardinals in a final score of 17-20.

Kelce wasn't the only veteran on the team to sit out the preseason opener. His close friend, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also sat out most of the game, while giving some of the rookies a chance to show off their skills.
