Stunning Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Ellie Thumann rocked a teeny leopard print bikini — alongside Olympic rugby phenom Ilona Maher — in a new video showing behind-the-scenes footage of the women in Bermuda.
The two stars were photographed in the same locale for their turn in the 2025 issue of the iconic magazine.
“More bts fun,” the photographer, Ben Watts, captioned the Instagram share.
The fast-paced video included many never-seen-before candids of Thumann, 24, and Maher, 29, in several barely-there swimsuits, laughing with the crew and hugging each other. Thumann rocked a teeny leopard print string bikini, a drapey one piece in the same fabric, a lime green suit with leopard accents, and a black bikini. She even donned a cute bucket hat in one of the photos.
Maher also sizzled in animal print — posing in a very cheeky bikini in the ocean, and tiny bikini bottoms with a knotted T-shirt with Thumann. She also cozied up in a plush robe.

Not only do both women appear in the current issue, but both also walked in the Sports Illustrated Runway Show this past May to close out Miami Swim Week. Also walking in the show were the 2025 cover stars (and gymnastics phenoms) Livvy Dunne and Jordan Chiles, plus models including golfer Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims, Gronk’s girlfriend Camille Kostek, and NFL wag Nicole Williams English.
