Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue took to social media to share five of its top photos of model Penny Lane, which were shared in a steamy photo gallery.
The Cheshire, England native won both of the magazine’s high-profile contests: its Swim Search casting call (2023) and the coveted Rookie of the Year (2024).
A new article on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit highlighted how the stunning model looks in prints. “We’ve known for years that the Swim Search winner can rock a printed look,” says the outlet. “Here are a few of our favorites throughout her slew of shoots.”

The magazine shared the article and photo gallery in a Monday, December 22 share to X (formerly Twitter), captioning it: “Penny Lane and Switzerland are a combo we’ve adored in 2025. The two-time SI Swimsuit model traveled to the European nation for her sophomore shoot in the fall and recently returned for some rest and relaxation.”
In addition to appearing in the print edition of the current issue, Lane also walked in the brand’s bikini fashion show to close out Miami Swim Week this past spring.

She joined cover stars gymnastics phenoms Livvy Dunne and Jordan Chiles; plus models such as Gronk’s girlfriend Camille Kostek, golfer Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims, NFL star Larry English’s wife Nicole Williams English, and Olympic icon Ilona Maher. Other models included Alix Earle (who just broke up with her Houston Texans player boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, after winning runner-up on Dancing with the Stars), Ellie Thumann, Denise Bidot and Katie Austin, daughter of 1980s workout video icon Denise Austin.
