As we enter into the peak of the winter doldrums, SI Swim proves it’s here to brighten the mood — visiting the snowy Alps with some of its boldest models.

With only a cropped fur jacket and a pair of winter boots to keep warm, Jasmine Sanders stuns in a risky bikini: a tiny strip as the top, and string bikini bottoms.

The result, taken by famed photographer Derek Kettela, “took our breath away,” says the brand in a Sunday, January 4 article.

The photo was part of a gallery and article in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit that raved, “The weather outside may be frightful, but these ensembles remain delightful.”

“With December behind us and January in full swing, the chilly winter months keep chugging along,” writes the outlet. “That said, it should come as no surprise that, for us here at SI Swimsuit, the spring and summer can’t come soon enough.”

The brand then pulled some of its hottest, skimpiest swimwear looks taken in frigid Switzerland — and starring Sanders; model Penny Lane and her famously award-winning bikini body; and Gronk’s SI Swim icon of a girlfriend, Camille Kostek.

Lane rocked a snug, too-small bikini top with frilly bottoms, and an eye-popping skimpy one-piece. Kostek lounged in the actual snow wearing nothing but a string bikini, a furry hat, boots, and a warm jacket worn completely open and falling off her shoulders.

“Our love of seaside outfits and iconic swimwear staples means that our fashion favorites…[are] relegated to the back of our closets until the ground thaws and the sun starts setting at a reasonable hour again,” reads the article. “Still, this got us thinking: do you really need to wait for those winter blues to fully melt away before we rock a sensational swimwear look, or is what we’re missing actually just the right piece of outerwear?”
