Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Ellie Thumann chose a telling crop top to make a huge announcement on social media. As she showed her excitement in the mirror video, her mic drop message was written across her plain white T-shirt: Victoria’s Secret.
“Fun 48 hours to come!!!!!” she captioned the Tuesday, October 14 TikTok share. “Headed to NYC.”
The 2025 Victoria’s Secret lingerie show is livestreaming tonight, at 7 p.m. While some of the models’ names — including Adriana Lima and Gigi Hadid — have been announced, the brand has made it clear that others were being kept under wraps. With her TikTok share, Thumann seemed to be saying that she was one of the surprise Angels — or would be there at least in some capacity.

In addition to modeling, Thumann, 23, is a well-known influencer with more than 2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. She last hit the runway this past May 31 for the Sports Illustrated Runway Show. The VIP-only show closed out Miami Swim Week at the ultra-glam W South Beach. Thumann hit the catwalk with the swimsuit issue’s 2025 cover stars Livvy Dunne, Jordan Chiles and Lauren Chan — plus models Jena Sims, Alix Earle, Xandra Pohl, Katie Austin and Penny Lane.

Thumann sure knows how to make a comeback. After taking a year off to jet-set and relax, the model and content creator announced her big return to modeling this past September. (She did do the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue during her break.) Since then, her life has been a whirlwind, including a glamorous turn in Milan.
