The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue rang in the New Year with sparkly bikinis, including steamy shots of two of its heavy-hitters: Jared Goff’s wife, Christen Goff; and Penny Lane, the stunner with the max award-winning bikini body.
Photos of the models risking too-small triangle bikini tops sizzled with major glam.
“As difficult as it may be to believe, 2025 is officially coming to a close,” reads the December 26 article in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “If you’re celebrating the occasion somewhere warm, there’s no better uniform than a sparkly swimsuit.”
The “glitzy” feature, curated by the iconic magazine’s fashion team — stylist Margot Zamet and fashion assistant Liz Wentworth — kicked off with model Penny Lane, winner of both the magazine’s Swim Search competition and the coveted Rookie of the Year.
“From chic, black sparkly swimwear to champagne-inspired picks and several that feature pops of color, there’s a little something here for everyone,” writes the outlet, calling Lane’s Agent Provocateur bikini “a total showstopper.”

Goff’s sparkly look then represented the holiday’s classic “Champagne toast,” which the magazine says “brings to mind a bubbly glass of champagne on New Year’s Eve. Think sparkly hues of gold, white and cinnamon, which can be found in all of the options below in various silhouettes.”
Christen married Jared in 2024, and the two share one daughter, Romy, born in July 2025.
