Flawless Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue star Xandra Pohl is enjoying her first vacation of 2026.
Her tropical holiday means tons of time in barely-there beachwear — and the successful DJ and mega-sports fan took to social media to show off a stunning golden hour shot of herself in a teeny string bikini. In the picture, she’s holding a camcorder as if to take it all in.
“Entering 2026 in flow state,” Pohl, 25, captioned the Friday, January 2 Instagram share. The post showed a location of Tamarindo, a surf hotspot in Costa Rica.
The 15-image carousel post included several other snapshots of her rocking the purple bikini — plus pics of local treats and art, and a spectacular view of one of the country’s famous sunsets.
“So happy to have you here in our beautiful country ❤️,” wrote one of many locals. “Pura Vida! 🇨🇷”
“Nothing beats a tamarindo sunset,” raved another.
“Best place on earth, my country 🦋🌎🌴✨🥂,” added a third.
“Tamarindo is such a nice place to spend NYE!” Commented a fourth. “I’m also in Tamarindo and doing volunteer work at a dog shelter nearby if you like to join me?👀 They’re called Halfway Home Tamarindo🥰.”

Pohl appears in the current Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and stays busy with the brand — she made appearances at the Las Vegas F1 and hosted an Arizona State football game as part of the brand’s 2025 Tailgate Tour this fall.
She also walked in the brand’s steamy fashion show to close out Miami Swim Week. Joining her at the VIP event at the super-luxe W South Beach: gymnastics phenoms/cover stars Livvy Dunne and Jordan Chiles, golfer Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims, and Gronk’s girlfriend Camille Kostek.
