Nina Cash started modeling as an “encore career” after retirement — and was named winner of the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swim Search at the age of 57.

For her photo shoot, she headed to glamorous, coastal Portugal to stun in one barely-there bikini after the next, showing off her flawless physique. SI Swim took to X (formerly Twitter) on October 3 to highlight one of the pics in a gorgeous throwback, where Cash shines in a simple grey string bikini.

“Retired university associate dean, proud mother, grandmother and wife, Nina Cash, decided to pursue modeling post-retirement as her ‘encore career,’” the brand captioned the post. “She made her first appearance in the 2024 Issue after being named co-winner of the 2023 Swim Search.”

The social media share linked to an article in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit about Cash — and included dozens more photos from the shoot. Every bikini showed off her incredible figure.

The famous photographer Ben Watts photographed Cash along with several other models from that year’s issue, including Livvy Dunne (who the next year, 2025, landed the cover), Penny Lane, Sharina Gutierrez, Brittney Nicole, Lorena Durán, Katie Austin, Christen Harper — and Gronk’s girlfriend, Camille Kostek.

“The styling on set in Douro Valley was inspired by the romantic backdrop of the sweeping landscape itself,” said the article. “The vineyards provided the ideal setting for sweet and soft looks, and the swimsuits Cash wore while on location drew inspiration from trendy balletcore and cottagecore aesthetics. Think lots of pastel pink, bow details and feminine, floral prints, offset with antique and edgy jewelry.”
