Reigning Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover model Salma Hayek, 58, showed off the flawless bikini bod that landed her on the cover of the iconic magazine.
In the photo, posted to SI Swimsuit’s Instagram on Wednesday, August 13, the Hollywood icon wore a tiny orange-red bikini and matching cover-up that she worked like the star she is, making it fly up behind her as a gorgeous frame. The photo was taken in her home country of Mexico.
“& that’s life of a #CoverGirl for you,” the magazine captioned the post, a carousel that scrolled through to also picture past models such as Martha Stewart, Danielle Herrington, Chrissy Teigen, Ashley Graham, Hailey Clauson, Maye Musk, Leyna Bloom, Lily Aldridge, Nina Agdal and Gayle King.
“Diosa,” commented one fan, in Spanish. “Viva México.”
“Salmaaaa,” exclaimed another. “What an amazing bikini.”
“Salma is ageless,” deemed a professional photographer.
Still others loved the montage.
“Beautiful ladies!!” raved one.
“Love this so much,” gushed another.
“Nothing but Fabulous-ness,” wrote a third.
“I’m honestly in awe of every single woman you feature on your covers,” commented a fourth. “I’m rarely a true fan of anything, but [SI Swimsuit] and these phenomenal women have turned me into the biggest fangirl. You inspire me more than you know.”
The additional three cover stars this year were Livvy Dunne, Jordan Chiles and Lauren Chan. Hayek made it to the album release party in NYC but did not walk in the Sports Illustrated Runway Show to close out Miami Swim Week on May 31. The other three cover models did, as well as models from the issue including Jena Sims, Alix Earle, Ellie Thumann and Penny Lane.
