Berkleigh Wright has the NFL in her blood. Not only did she serve as a caption of the Denver Broncos cheerleaders during her fifth year of the squad last year, but she is now dating Panthers punter Sam Martin.

But it was the former that the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue revisited when it took to social media for a steamy throwback to the model’s 2024 appearance in the iconic magazine.

“Berkleigh Wright made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2024, photographed by Derek Kettela in Belize,” the brand captioned its Tuesday, December 9 share to X (formerly Twitter).

At the time, Wright was a cheerleader, technical account manager, and host of a book vlog series called Bookin’ It With Berk. She was also the reigning co-winner of the 2023 SI Swim Search.

“Wright is multifaceted to be sure,” reads an article about Wright in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “The model has been on the cheerleading squad for five seasons and served as the team captain this past year. Off the field and out of the office, she is dedicated to serving multiple community organizations, including the Children's Hospital of Colorado, Boys and Girls Club of Denver, Dare to Cheer and Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders.”

In Belize for her photoshoot, Wright was joined by Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes; two-time NFL WAG Chanel Iman, who just finished the super-tough reality show Special Forces against several pro athletes; and wrestler Logan Paul’s wife, Nina Agdal.

“The styling in San Pedro was all red everything,” says the outlet. “Red has been having a moment this past year, and SI Swimsuit leaned into that on set in Ambergris Caye. Featuring classic cut swimwear in various shades of red, the styling was meant to be bold.”
