Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers made a bold fashion move ahead of Tuesday night's WNBA game. 

Before taking the court, the 23-year-old UConn Huskies alum sported a wild purple jacket, clearly ignoring the high temperatures and NYC humidity, as she strolled into the Brooklyn arena. 

Bueckers paired the look with black pants and matching platform boots and wore her blonde locks pulled back in a tight ponytail. She also sported her official BP5 Dallas Wings bag on her arm, which features her "5" jersey number embossed in neon green on the front.

It didn't take long for WNBA fans to notice Bueckers' eye-catching look.

Shortly after she stepped out of the tunnel, people started sharing their reactions on social media, praising her unique style. 

"The aura of Paige Bueckers," one person commented on a photo shared by the WNBA's official Instagram account.  

"Paige looks so good and that bag suits her style," another person wrote. 

"Paige rocking that," a third person added.

Paige Bueckers is currently dealing with back issues

Bueckers and the Wings came up short against the New York Liberty on Tuesday night, falling 85-76.

Despite the loss, the WNBA rookie put up a strong performance, racking up 21 points and had eight rebounds and four assists - all while battling through back pain that briefly forced her to exit the game near the end of the third quarter. 

After being looked at in the locker room, the No. 1 draft pick returned to the bench at the beginning of the fourth period and was able to got a few more plays in. 

After the game, Bueckers said she's she's suffering from a pulled back muscle, per ESPN

"I was just dribbling the ball and just felt a tightness come along," the UConn alum said. "It's day to day. I'm hoping it won't take me out. Just get some treatment, get some rest."

She added, "I think it's just a pulled muscle. I felt a strain, felt it tighten, so am just getting it worked out."
