Comeback queen Lindsay Vonn celebrated her “encore” success with a sizzling magazine cover. She shared a behind-the-scenes peek from the photo shoot on social media, with a video of her lounging in an open blazer revealing nothing underneath.
The Olympic skier and record-breaking force, 41, captioned the Wednesday, October 22 TikTok share with a quote from her interview with the magazine: “Every day is about training, working out and making sure my body is as strong and prepared as it can be for this winter...That alone is such a gift. No matter what my results are, I’ve already won.”
She also quotes the magazine’s take on her big comeback earlier this year: “A second chance, an encore in many ways, to continue her groundbreaking career. This time, pain-free and on her own terms.”
Vonn added, “Grateful to feature on the latest cover of Players Magazine.”

Vonn rejoined the U.S. Ski Team for the 2024-2025 season, after retiring due to injury in 2019. After a partial knee replacement surgery that facilitated her comeback, the iconic skier is now training for the 2026 Winter games in Milan-Cortina. She has already medaled in a 2025 World Cup event, placing second in the Super-G — the oldest woman to do so.
The Olympic champion — her three medals include the only American woman’s gold downhill — was also the first woman to rack up 82 World Cup victories, among other records.
