Island babe SI Swim model rocks string bikini in steamy new share image

Model Rose Bertram sizzled in Tahiti for her island babe shoot for the iconic Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and the magazine took to social media for a steamy throwback share.

At the time of the shoot, the stunning Belgian model was about four years into a 10-year relationship with Dutch soccer icon Gregory van der Wiel, whom she started dating when she was about 17. The couple share two daughters.

“Rose Bertram brought vibrant energy and effortless beauty to the Islands of Tahiti in her 2016 SI Swimsuit spread,” SI Swim captioned the Thursday, November 27 share to X (formerly Twitter). In the photo, she rocks an ice blue string bikini by Tori Praver Swimwear and a tropical flower in her curly hair, as she poses half-emerged in the pristine Tahitian waters.

She was photographed by Yu Tsai.

The accompanying article on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit features a gallery of stunning photos from the shoot. In the main image, she poses on a rock in a neutral suit by Lolli Swim, sporting a slight sheen from the hot island sun. In another, she leans against a palm tree in a green string bikini by CYNABABY SWIMWEAR.

She also rocks a bright teeny bikini by Dolcessa Swimwear, a fluorescent green and brown suit by Dolcessa Swimwear, a mermaid-worthy two-piece by Eskini, and the smallest one of all by Toxic Sadie Swimwear.
