Angel Reese rocked some serious Victoria’s Secret lingerie backstage before making history as the first professional athlete to don her angel’s wings for the legendary brand’s iconic lingerie show, which was livestreamed on Wednesday, October 15.
Wearing one of the company’s famous push-up bras and matching robe backstage, the pretty-in-pink Chicago Sky star flaunted her stunning cat-eye makeup look. Her hair was in gigantic curlers.
The athlete-turned-model posted an Instagram Story the day prior, showing her practicing her runway walk in stilettos, listening to a trainer as she nailed her posture in a two-piece sports bra and bicycle shorts set.
On TikTok, she showed the outcome: gliding in high heels as she strutted with her enormous Victoria’s Secret Angel wings and a two-piece lingerie set.
“Stepping into a dream,” she captioned the post. “From Angel to Victoria’s Secret ANGEL. I’m finally getting my wings…it feels like destiny. Wings on, heels ready…Catch me on the runway.”

For Show Day, she posted Psalm 91:11 to her Instagram Story: “For He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.”
Joining her on stage: supermodels Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Joan Smalls, Lily Alridge, and Yumi Nu.

The show’s musical guests include K-Pop sensation TWICE, legend Missy Elliott, and Madison Beer, who just became official with Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, according to an October 5 report on E! News.
