Former pro golfer Paige Spiranac rocked a barely-there Halloween costume in a recent social media share celebrating the start of October and spooky season.

Her costume was more of an homage to fall, with a skin-tight, cleavage-baring crop top in bright orange. She hiked up her autumnal red skirt for the selfie. She also rocked librarian-worthy glasses — and a brunette wig in a severe bob cut that made the platinum blonde completely unrecognizable.

“It’s that time of year again,” the Halloween fan announced on September 30 in a share to X (formerly Twitter). “31 costumes in 31 days starts tomorrow! All new costumes, no repeats from the last 2 years.”

The post immediately got almost 1,000 comments, many of whom thought she was giving Velma vibes. The Scooby-Doo character has a similar bob and glasses and wears an orange turtleneck in the same color as Spiranac’s crop top.

“Looking absolutely beautiful,” raved one fan.

“Will you haunt my house,” quipped another.

“Spooky season just got a serious upgrade,” wrote a third. “Glamour meets ghostly.”

Spiranac had a short-lived professional golfing career after early success, lasting about one year in 2015. She has since become a highly-successful influencer and content creator, with much of her work touching on a golf theme. She also doesn’t hold back when sharing her opinions about the world of pro golf.
