Erin Andrews has been making headlines for her bold look at the NFL Wild Card playoff game last weekend.

The veteran sports reporter took fans' breath away with her dramatic white, black, and grey fur coat as the  San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles faced off. In an interview with Glamour following the viral moment, the sports journalist spoke out about the huge fashion moment.

“I think this coat caught people’s eye just because it’s such a different look for me,” she said. “In the wind, I know it looked like a Beyoncé video. It felt fun, it felt fabulous, it felt like a big event, it felt like a big wild-card playoff game on Fox. It was the perfect time to wear this piece, and I’m so excited we did it.”

“I remember when Taylor Swift was first seen wearing pieces from my line and the effect that had on our brand. Knowing I can wear Rob’s incredible clothes and have an impact in some way has been such an honor,” she said of her own clothing brand WEAR.

The $950 coat Andrews wore is from celebrity stylist Rob Zangardi, who launched Auter last fall.

“We’re not even three months old, and while we’ve been incredibly grateful for the support we’ve gotten so far, seeing the coat go viral during a game watched by tens of millions of people was a whole different level,” he told Glamour.

Andrews also answered an important question about the coat on her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa that while the coat looks like real fur, it is indeed a faux fur coat. Andrews is a known animal lover and opened an animal sanctuary called Erin's Farm that rescues animals and finds them a loving forever home.

“What world do you guys live in, by the way, that you think as animal lovers, [I would wear real fur],” she said. “I'm not wearing real fur, you moron! I started an animal sanctuary!”

That received some praise from PETA -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals -- who is very vocal online about celebrities wearing real fur.

“That’s how you serve a showstopping look without harming animals. Love that this coat is faux! ” a statement from the official PETA account on X read.

Fans who are interested in the coat can preorder the Fox Jacket in Sand Noir, for $995 at auterwear.com. It’s expected to ship in April.
