Ava Lahey — second-year Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and one of the stars of the squad’s mega-hit docuseries America’s Sweethearts — stunned in a recent social media pic posted by the team. Mid-move with pom poms in hand, her chiseled abs popped, as defined and sculpted as any pro sports player
“Pregame perfection 💘,” the DCC captioned the Instagram post. It was the cover photo to a 10-image carousel post of actions shots of many of the team’s professional dancers.
“My beautiful friends🤍,” raved popular squad member Reece Weaver, who was one of the main storylines on the Netflix series’ first season.
“Stunning girls🤩🤩,” commented their squad mate Sophy Laufer.
“Omggg so gorg my girlies 😍,” agreed teammate Abby Summers.
“My friends are so gorgeous wow,” added a fourth, Kylie Dickson.
Lahey has danced she was 2, studying ballet, pointe, tap jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and modern. She also competed and joined a local ballet company, even being admitted to and attending several of the most prestigious summer intensives in the country — including Joffrey Ballet, Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet.

“For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a professional dancer, but I didn’t know exactly in what capacity,” she says on her team bio. “As I got older I realized I wanted to dance in the NFL, and no other team came to my mind other than the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders! Aside from the incredible talent, what stood out to me the most about DCC is how much they prioritize community service and military support.”
