WNBA star Angel Reese is getting ready to make history as the first professional athlete to ever walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway. 

The Chicago Sky forward, 23, is set to walk in the coveted show on Wednesday, Oct. 15. 

On Thursday afternoon, Reese shared a promo for her upcoming gig on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself sitting in a chair in a bra and underwear with the iconic white angel wings perched on her back. 

She captioned the post, "Stepping into a dream: From Angel to a Victoria Secret ANGEL. I’m finally getting my wings."

Reese continued, "I’ll be walking the Victoria’s Secret 2025 runway show for the first time, and it feels like destiny."

Reese attended the show in 2024 and this year will make her debut as a VS Angel, kicking off a new partnership with the brand. 

The 6-foot-3 WNBA star raved about her new gig to "People," telling the outlet she "could not stop smiling" when she learned the news. 

"It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel," Reese told the outlet. "I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere and remind them that we can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it — and for me, that’s getting to walk down fashion and entertainment’s most iconic runway,"

The Sky star says she's very proud to represent the brand and to go down in the history books as the first-ever female athlete to do it. 

"It’s such an honor to be a part of such an immensely powerful moment that celebrates women, and how multifaceted we are," she added. "I know the energy and excitement will be unmatched – I’m ready for it!"

Reese will join Adriana Lima, Anok Yai, Lily Aldridge and Alex Consani in this year's model lineup. 

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, taking place in New York, will be live-streamed on Prime Video.
