Taylor Swift is taking on late-night!

The Midnights artist will be making her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday, Oct. 6, which follows the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The last time Swift was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon was back in 2022, when she was promoting her Grammy-winning album Midnights. She has been on the show  She has been on the show seven times throughout her career.

On the Oct. 6 episode, Swift will appear alongside actress Keri Russell, while indie rock band The Format will perform.

Fallon teased Swift's appearance with a Las Vegas-themed promo on Instagram, where the talk show host is playing roulette. He subtly puts his chips on 6, 10, and 25 to signify the date of Swift's appearance, and then a wheel spins to hit 13, which is the singer's favorite number.

If that wasn't enough to convince fans that Swift will be a guest on the show, Fallon says “Baby, that’s show business for you,” after not winning a lot at the casino. She's been using that phrase throughout the promotion of the album.

"Not a lot going on at the moment," Fallon captioned the video which is another reference to Swift's song "22" where she wears a t-shirt with the phrase.

To end the promo, Fallon goes into the hallway, where he runs into three women in showgirl attire.

Fans went straight to the comment section to share their thoughts about the promo.

"Imagine watching this and not realizing it's about Taylor," a fan commented on the video.

"HERE WE GO SWIFTIES," another fan wrote.

"Andrea Swift just started looking through her phone for embarassing videos to send Jimmy," a fan said of Swift's mother.

"Well that is rather SWIFTSPICIOUS if you ask me," a fan reacted.

To confirm fans' thoughts, the official Tonight Show account commented on the promo, "@taylorswift joins us Monday 10/6/25 to talk The Life of a Showgirl! Tune in at 11:35/10:35c on @nbc!"

Taylor Swift announces The Life of a Showgirl

Swift announced her 12th studio album on her now-fiancé's podcast, New Heights. Travis Kelce, who proposed to Swift last month, co-hosts the podcast with his older brother Jason Kelce.

Swift explained the album cover art, which shows her in a bathtub in a bedazzled outfit.

“This represents the end of my night. So when I’m on tour, I have the same day every single day...And my day ends with me in a bathtub, not usually in a bedazzled dress.”

She continued, “I wanted to sort of like glamorize all the different aspects of how that tour felt. And that’s how that felt to like be at the end of the night when all this has gone down. You won’t be able to get to bed till four in the morning after this. But you had to jump through 50 million hoops in this obstacle course that is your show. And you did it. You got two more in a row. But you did it tonight.

“And the reason I wanted to have sort of like an offstage moment as the main album cover is because this album isn’t really about what happened to me on stage. It’s about what I was going through offstage. So I didn’t want to have like the lights are bright, I’m on the stage is the main album cover. It’s just this. This, to me, tells more of what the actual content, lyrically, of the album are.”

She shared on the podcast that she wrote the album while she was on her record-breaking Eras Tour, which concluded in December 2024. The album will have 12 tracks with Sabrina Carpenter on the titular track.

Like most of her albums, she is making this one a fun experience for fans, including a theatrical release of the intro track, "The Fate of Ophelia," and she will also have a limited-run SiriusXM channel dedicated to her discography 24/7.

Swifties are in for a treat coming next month as The Life of a Showgirl is out on Oct. 3.
