Michael Irvin just might have the greatest Super Bowl story of all time.

In case you haven’t heard, “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys” is officially on Netflix, and it tells the story of the iconic Dallas Cowboys…the good, the bad and the ugly. This includes the Cowboys legend Michael Irvin sneaking out during the 1993 Super Bowl to watch Michael Jackson’s legendary halftime performance. In a clip, Irvin recalls, “We come in at halftime to sneak out and see Michael Jackson. He continues: “Do something! I gotta get back in the locker room!” The ‘93 Super Bowl panned out well for the Cowboys, as they defeated the Buffalo Bills 52–17, winning their third Super Bowl in team history, and their first one in 15 years. Things worked out pretty well for Jackson, too, as he not only put on a legendary performance but also changed the game as far as future Super Bowl performances, as it was the first halftime show to achieve more viewers than the game itself.

The docuseries spans eight episodes, which means sports fans will have plenty to keep them entertained.
