From $165M to 'I Want it That Way': Luka Doncic hits Backstreet Boys Vegas show after signing contract image

The Backstreet Boys are back, and even NBA stars are hitting up the iconic boy band's Vegas residency, which kicked off on July 11 at the Sphere.

On Saturday, August 2, Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic, 26, surprised fans when he showed up to the Las Vegas concert alongside Lakers president Rob Pelinka just hours after signing a three-year $165 million contract extension.

Before the ink was dry on the contract, the former Mavs star took a break from his grueling offseason training to get down to 90's tunes sung by Nick Carter and the legendary boy band.

Jeanie Buss, Mark Walter, Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, Jaxson Hayes, and Adou Theiro also tagged along for the night out on the town.

Videos of Doncic's Sin City appearance quickly went viral on X over the weekend, and in one moment, Doncic was seen jamming to "I Want it That Way" with a drink in hand, while sitting in a box beside "That 70's Show" star Ashton Kutcher, 47, and his wife, Mila Kunis, 41.

While the NBA star appeared to be enjoying his post-contract signing celebration in the stands, he was also treated to a backstage meet and greet with the Backstreet Boys, where he was seen posing for a photograph.

Fans quickly reacted to the Lakers star's unexpected outing, flooding social media with comments.

"Rob meat glazinggg Luka with Backstreet Boys playing in the background was not on my 2025 bingo card," one person wrote on X

"The most free I've seen Luka," someone else wrote.

"Holy GOAT he knows the lyrics," another person said.

"Love the team bonding like that," a fourth person added.

Doncic has a lot to celebrate this week. His three year extension will keep him in LA for the foreseeable future.
