Well, if we don't know anything else, we know LeBron James has definitely heard the unreleased Clipse single 'Chains & Whips.'

"They wanted me to ask Kendrick to censor his verse, which of course I was never doing," Pusha told Thorpe.

He continued: "And then they wanted me to take the record off. And so, after a month of not doing it, Steve Gawley, the lawyer over there, was like, ‘We'll just drop the Clipse.’ But that can't work because I'm still there [solo]. But [if] you let us all go…"

Fast forward to...not to long after the interview was revealed in the grand scheme of things, and LBJ took to his IG story: "Therapy showed me how to open up! It also showed me I don’t give a F," which are the lyrics from Kendrick's verse in the unreleased track. It didn't take fans long to catch on either, with one writing: "He prolly heard the verse already."

As for the final result of the Def Jam dispute with Clipse? The label eventually released Clipse and dropped Pusha, but that didn't discourage them from shopping their music elsewhere. "It felt good to even see how other labels were buying for the project." This includes Roc Nation, where they are currently signed.
